Small animals in trouble
Learning goals: gross motor skills, empathy, imagination and playfulness
There has been a snowstorm and many small animals have been misplaced around the forest.
Take 3-5 of your child’s soft toys and hide them around the house or in one room.
Ask your child to find and rescue the animals as fast as they can. If you want to make it more challenging your child can try carry them on their back! What about on their belly or on top of their head?
You can also set a timer and watch how long it takes for your child to save all the animals using different ways of carrying them. What was the fastest way? You can also join your child and form a rescue team together.
Use only 1 or 2 animals, hide them in one room and take a picture of them in their hiding places to assist your little rescuer.
