Colouring pictures of forests

Learning goals: controlling a pen, soft and hard colouring, controlling directions of pen, recognizing forests on different continents and naming animals in them.

Look at the colouring pictures. What animals can you see in them?

Choose which of the forests you would like to visit first and start colouring.

Your animal toys can accompany you at the table.

Play a relaxing forest sound recording while colouring. There are plenty of
recordings available on the Internet.

Toddler adaptation

Colour the pictures of forests with finger paint or with water colour and paint brush. Name the animals and ask your children to point them or name them too. You can also try to move together like the different animals.
